Nick is a versatile project and production manager with many years’ experience working with high profile clients in a busy video production environment.
Nick has active involvement in infrastructure planning and development, facility management, IT support, technical production management, crew supervision, studio lighting, video camera operation, and live vision mixing and directing. Nick also has more than 10 years’ experience as an Avid video editor working with in-house and freelance producers and directors on various short form videos and presentation material.
Nick was overall technical manager for the Time for Change event at the Shard working with key production partners, has worked on literally hundreds of training workshops in a management and technical capacity, and manages all external technical partners and suppliers.

Matt is one of our in-house editors and self-shooting directors. Having studied both literature and the technicalities of filmmaking he is well placed, not only to know how to tell your story, but how to make it a reality. With experience at the BBC, ITV and Channel 4 his work is of broadcast-quality standard and he continues to strive towards perfection for his clients.
Matt works alongside the producers to interpret your brief, translating your message so that it will work effectively on the screen and win the attention of your audience. He is involved at every stage of the filmmaking process, from directing and filming your content, to shaping it in the edit. He’s also a massive typeface geek, so your films will always be on-brand!
Matt recently edited films for the Foreign Office’s Counter Terrorism campaign and has directed and edited countless films for all our main clients over the years, including: BP, Royal Navy, Tetra Pak, Unilever and the GEMS Varkey Foundation. He’s filmed Samuel L Jackson and likes to bring it up in conversation whenever possible.

Danny in an award-winning producer who has worked across TV, documentary, advertising and brand communications for 15 years. He has produced work for some of the world’s biggest companies and organisations which has taken him to 25 countries.
In 2011, Danny produced an award winning viral campaign for the Ministry of Defence. Bringing together the Army, the Royal Navy and the Royal Air Force to create a darkly comic video campaign that warned those serving in the armed forces and their families of the operational and personal risks associated with using social media.
Recently Danny executive produced a series of films for the $1,000,000 Global Teacher Prize and was in Dubai covering the extraordinary event itself. The films told the stories of the world’s most inspirational teachers in remote corners of the world.

Annabel is an enthusiastic events professional, with extensive events experience within the luxury industry.
Brilliantly creative and superbly organised, Annabel is involved in creating the unique bespoke guest experiences from initial preparation and planning through event delivery.
Having joined Embolden from in-house events at Cartier, Annabel has managed a varied spectrum of events from the Cartier Queen’s Polo Cup to a 500 person ‘unconference’ event at Chelsea Football Ground. Now that’s versatile.

Seb is an in-house designer with a background in web development and graphic design. As a self-confessed ‘techie’, he’s always ahead of the game when it comes to future trends in design and technology.
Seb is involved in all our accounts from concept to design to development, creating experiences that bring a new level of interaction and engagement. Website, mobile, intranets, social and print – there is nothing he can’t do.
Seb designed our first app, Co-Creator; launched a campaign portal for the UK government, UK Helps and created a new internal channel for Unilever.

With more than a decade as a broadcast journalist for ITN and Channel 4 News, Rebecca joined as a Producer in 1998 and is now Embolden's Head of Film.

From name-dropping shoots with people like Mikhail Gorbachev, the Dalai Lama and Desmond Tutu, to filming with school kids in the slums of Mumbai to factory workers in China, on oil rigs in the North Sea to battleships in the Atlantic, she’s been given privileged insights into the worlds of commerce, technology, education and manufacturing. She’s filmed and produced live events in more than 45 countries, and worked with some of the world’s best film and video practitioners.

Always eclectic. Chris’s career experience spans writing, producing, directing, camera and editing. His background is in broadcast, starting with the BBC and moving to other broadcasters as well as branching into advertising along the way.
His role at the FCO scales itself from producing features in support of foreign policy, to supporting communications across a global network of 250 posts, to creating public service films aiding safety of travellers and tourists abroad.

Emily is responsible for balancing a creative eye with a practical head. She works with the team to come up with the big ideas and then uses her experience to make sure these can be delivered on time and on budget.
Emily works with clients to find out what they want to achieve – sometimes it’s a clear goal, but sometimes it’s not and that’s all part of the process and the fun. She then sources the best team for the project, and brainstorms, scripts, directs and juggles logistics along the way to create films that people want to watch, and that her clients can be proud of.
Over the past five years Emily has worked on everything from G8 summits to Royal Navy destroyers and organised shoots across the world; from the balmy tropics of Jamaica to the blizzards of the Arctic Circle. She’s donned wetsuits, powdered too many noses, bargained for props and written countless scripts about pretty much every topic you can imagine, all in the name of FILM. She also moonlights as the in-house voice over artist when budgets just won’t stretch.

Carol works with our production team to help them deliver a commercially profitable product and complements our small but agile finance team. She is responsible for the management of our staff’s environment and enjoys that no two days are the same.

Stew’s role is to be part of the team that comes up with an idea. The person to direct a film; shoot the footage for a film or edit the final outcome and in most instances he will do all of those roles for one job.
Stew is multi-skilled and dynamic in approach. An accomplished filmmaker with 20 years’ experience who self-shoots, directs, edits and writes treatments and scripts. He is passionate about being creative, whether that is with a visual concept for documentary style shoots or coming up with the perfect idea for a drama.
Stew has worked on a vast array of award winning projects for many of our clients but in his own words ‘you’re only as good as your last project’ and is very proud to have been part of the team involved in the recent Global Teacher Prize films for the Varkey Foundation and Embolden’s ongoing work for the Royal Navy.

Mário works within the digital team to create and establish the clients’ voice, visibility and direction on the web.

Ho works with Embolden’s clients to explore ways in which digital and new technology can bring their products and services to life. Ho ensures that the client’s business objectives are met through the digital capabilities that Embolden can offer.
Ho has a wide-ranging background in digital, from strategy, and experience planning, to consulting. Her experience includes, enterprise level web platform builds, e-commerce through to marketing campaigns, corporate comms, mobile app technology, data analytics and search strategy.
Ho gained her experience at a number of London’s leading marketing and communications agencies, leading projects and solving complex marketing and digital communications briefs for famous brands such as Marks & Spencer, Microsoft, Canon, HSBC, Royal Mail and most recently KPMG.

Jay acts a primary point of contact for Embolden’s clients, ensuring that their needs are effectively understood before bringing our internal team into discussions. With a background in technology, Jay is also helping Embolden’s clients to stay ahead of the curve and to understand the opportunities and threats that this may bring.
Jay has worked with the some of the world’s largest businesses – from Facebook and Google to the likes of RBS and Cancer Research. He has worked on a number of cutting edge technology projects with clients helping them to not only produce world firsts in virtual and augmented reality, but also to plan how to effectively integrate these into their wider business strategies.

Stephen has a background in media and politics and has spent his career advising on communications and reputation.
He’s a former BBC News and Current Affairs producer. He founded ctn group and established The Leadership Agency. He works predominantly with individual leaders and their leadership teams, advising on communications strategy and coaching personal impact skills. He’s a frequent public speaker and retains an interest in political campaigning and international relations. He’s chairman of the British-German Association and serves as an Honorary Officer and advisor to the Royal Navy.
