Allianz Global Investors (AllianzGI) see inclusion and diversity (I&D) as a long-term business strategy that will help enable the future success of their organisation. They also wanted to show their employees that I&D is real and at the heart of the business.
We created a month-long campaign called ‘The World Through My Eyes’ that not only celebrated the rich and diverse culture across business but shared stories and connected people at a deeper level.
The campaign featured a photo competition where employees were invited to share what I&D means to them. Images were posted on a microsite and then publicly shared on Instagram and Twitter using a unique hashtag.
Using the ‘Co-creator app’ both members of the executive team and I&D champions acted as ‘citizen journalists’ filming key I&D activities. The app also served as a mobile production studio, enabling authentic stories to be told through user-generated films. Through the app, these video stories were edited into a series of country films that were shared globally.
